The autoPEN is a stylish, ballpoint pen with a digital camera and a miniature computer built inside. The pen’s camera captures or photographs everything, including signature, written on special ‘smart' paper while the onboard computer processes the handwritten information into legible type.
                                                                             

Definitely not ‘ordinary’ paper, the autoPEN paper is ‘smart’ paper with a unique paper pattern formed by millions of micro dots that create a paper ‘fingerprint.’ As the autoPEN writes on the ‘fingerprint’ paper, the pen knows exactly where the customer writes and signs, recording words, signatures and images written on the paper.
                                                                              

Once the customer completes the ‘smart’ paper document, the autoPEN goes into the mini-docking station, connected to the dealership’s computer system. Instantly, the information stored in the pen transfers to the computer system and then to RouteOne…just as if someone had typed the data.
